While the event time is scheduled for 4-9 PM, I am told that a 3PM concert is being added and food will be available accordingly. So feel free to enter the roped off area to the right as you enter and park in manner so as to maximize space. Added concert will be posted on the mckeesportbands.com website.

4:00PM Free car cruise and Free concert at 7:00PM with the Jaggerz just yards away in one direction and four or more rib vendors yards away in the other. Cars will be in a roped off well lit area and there will be dash plaques to the first 100 cars. Parking is easy in and easy out.

You can either take you chair /blanket for the short walk to the bandshell for the concert or hear it from your car. In addition to the ribs, BBQ’d items and sides from the rib vendors, the Lions Club will be cooking up all beef hot dogs, Italian sausage, kielbasa, gyros, haluski, french fries,and the likes. Additionally, there will be funnel cakes, ice cream, popcorn, nachos,soda, and lemonaid. There will even be beer for those of legal age and an ATM machine on site for your convenience.

Where else can you get this much bang for the buck and only have to pay for what you eat, And, if you are a gambler, you might want to take a chance at the concert’s 50/50 drawings as the pots are some the largest you will come across.

Look for a break in the guard-rail on the Bandshell side of the road, about halfway between Lampert’s Market and the Fire Station, I was told that a sign would be provided but it is not guaranteed.
