On Sunday August 4th Darcee (Derry area revitalization corporation) will once again be hosting it’s annual car show . For anyone who has not attended before the show is held at Derry community park ,the park is a well kept large flat grass area with plenty of shade provided by the woods on the outskirts and 3 pavilions ,we also will have both indoor plumbing and extra port a johns set up around to help out .Due to the continued support of the carshow Darcee has been able to make many great improvements to the park over the years to continue to make it a great location and a very enjoyable day THIS CARSHOW IS 100% FAMILY FRIENDLY AND FAMILY ORIENTED WE TREAT IT MORE AS A COMMUNITY PICNIC VS THE STANDARD CARSHOW ENVIRONMENT .we will be having music,50/50 and a very large basket raffle this year we will be handing out 150 Dash plaques for the first vehicles to arrive ,We have 17 classes for vehicle registration 1900-1939,1940-1949,1950-1959,1960-1964,1965-1969,1970-1979,1980-1989,1990-1999,2000-2009,2010-present,Trucks 1900-1969,Trucks 1970-present ,Street rod ,Import Special interest &Jeep and suv. WE WILL BE AWARDING 1ST,2nd &3rd place for each class along with best of show , Darcee choice and 3 kids choice trophies as always Darcee would like to thank everyone who has supported this event in the past Pre registration will be $6.00 and day of the show is $10.00
